Commentaire :

Attribué d'abord à Rosso par Ch. Blanc puis à Boyvin, K. Kusenberg l'a rendu à Thiry. On peut le rattacher à plusieurs dessins d'aiguières conservés à la Bibliothèque nationale de France (Aa 53 fol. Res) dont l'attribution à Thiry est établie par des annotations anciennes. Voir aussi 3417 DR. (H. Gasnault in cat. d'exp. 'Le roi et l'artiste. François Ier et Rosso', Fontainebleau, 2013, n° 100, p. 221).
